Please help ZAKOI make a Prayer Hall to establish a Dar-e-Mehr for our community!

Dear Fellow Zarthushtis,

We come to you with an appeal to please help us with your DONATIONS to make our Prayer Hall in the building we purchased last year, so that we can finally establish our Dar-e-Mehr for our community in the tri-state region of Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. Our group is called the Zoroastrian Association of Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana, aka ZAKOI (please click on ZAKOI to learn a little about us). Please see the attached picture, which is the drawing of our Prayer Hall as we envision making it with our architect, Cyrus Rivetna’s drawings. Cyrus has graciously offered his honorary architectural services to ZAKOI.

Including all the expenses involved in completing this project, we need $750K, which will enable us to establish the Fifteenth Dar-e-Mehr in North America, in Cincinnati, Ohio, which is the hub of gathering for our tri-state community. Out of the $750K we need, we have raised $500K (2/3 of what we need!). We are stuck right now because we still need $250K more to begin this project. Each month that we wait, the costs will keep rising. This Dar-e-Mehr will perpetually serve the religious and spiritual needs of Zoroastrians living here now as well as for all the future generations of Zoroastrians who will live here, and its existence will enable our religion and our prophet’s teaching to forever shine in this region of the world.
