FEZANA Launches the Tirdad Lohrasb Welfare and Critical Assistance Endowment

The Federation of Zoroastrian Associations of North America (FEZANA) is proud to announce an inspiring milestone: the establishment of the Tirdad Lohrasb Welfare and Critical Assistance Endowment. This transformative endowment, made possible by a generous contribution of over $400,000 USD, honors the loving memory of Mr. Tirdad Lohrasb and was initiated by his brother, Shahrad Lohrasb. It embodies their commitment to uplifting Zarathushti families and individuals in times of need.

This remarkable fund is dedicated to providing a safety net during life’s most challenging moments, addressing critical needs such as:

• Emergency Financial Support for health crises, medical treatments, accidents, or natural disasters.
• Relief from Hunger and Poverty for individuals and families experiencing dire circumstances.
• Educational Assistance to support Zoroastrian children and youth, from primary school through university.

The Welfare and Critical Needs Committee at FEZANA will oversee the responsible disbursement of funds, ensuring the principal remains preserved while investment income provides vital assistance.

We deeply appreciate Shahrad Lohrasb’s heartfelt contribution, which enables us to strengthen our support for Zarathushti families and individuals in need. This endowment represents a beacon of hope for Zarathushtis worldwide, reinforcing a collective commitment to support those facing adversity.
