Forwarded for your information and consideration is a very urgent medical appeal received from cousins of Er. Dinyar Maneck Vajifdar (65 years) who has been diagnosed to be suffering from multiple myeloma, which is a malignancy of the plasma cells of the bone marrow. He was admitted to Bombay Hospital & Medical Research Centre for tests and treatment on May 06, 2024 and discharged on May 28, 2024.
As per the medical prognosis, the treatment is expected to extend over a year requiring frequent hospitalization, alternating weekly day care sessions for chemotherapy and finally stem cell transplant. The total expenses are estimated to be in the region of Rs.11,500,000 (Rupees one crore fifteen lakhs / Rupees eleven million five hundred thousand).
For the recent hospitalization Er. Dinyar was covered upto Rs.10,00,000 (Rupees ten lakhs / one million) from his son Firdaus Vajifdars medical insurance policy as a dependent parent, there was an outstanding amount of Rs.390,000 which we (WZO Trust Funds) paid directly to the hospital from our emergency surplus medical funds.
Er. Dinyar is a full time practising Mobed since the last 10 years at Seth B. M. Mevawala Agiyari at Byculla, Mumbai. His current salary is Rs.51,000 per month.

It is requested that support for Er. Dinyar Maneck Vajifdar may please be extended by making donations to The WZO Trust Funds who have been requested by his relatives (please see attachment) to receive and disburse funds directly to the hospital, laboratories where various tests will be done and to chemists.
